We've got another new update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 today! This is known as the "Trygon" update, and it's available now on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Focus Entertainment describes this as a "massive" new Space Marine 2 patch, and that's because it features a new PvE mission, a new weapon, two new cosmetic DLCs, and a whole host of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
Here are some of those quality-of-life improvements as detailed by the development team:
These come in addition to a range of QoL updates and improvements available to all players, like the introduction of Prestige Ranks and Prestige Rewards; a rework of many weapon perks; the ability to change the colour of cloth, tabards and hoods across all classes; as well as the much-requested Custom PvP lobbies, letting you match in groups of up to 12 players for fully customisable Eternal War games.

There's a whole bunch of new content jammed into this new Space Marine 2 update, then, and we're going to leave you with a description of the new “Exfiltration” mission that serves as the highlight of the whole thing.
You can also check out the new trailer for the "Trygon" update up above, along with an infographic down below which details all the key additions to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 as part of today's patch.
Drop back to windswept Avarax for a new assignment and take on the mighty Trygon in Space Marine 2’s ninth PvE Operation. This terrifying, towering new boss specialises in guerrilla tactics and is renowned for its ability to burrow below defence lines and harass its prey no matter how safe they think they are. Free for all players, this new mission is also the perfect occasion to try out a fiery new secondary weapon: the Inferno Pistol.

How are you getting on with Space Marine 2 at the moment? Let us know in the poll up above!

Need to get back to this. It’s a great game. Just too much to play!
One of the few recent games I have purchased and regretted doing so. At least it was a sale and I didn't pay full price.
Been playing this game a lot recently, it even got me back into Darktide. Both are really fun! Definitely checking out that Prestige mechanic today
Hopefully in the upcoming sales this goes down I'm building up a decent amount of reward points waiting to go on something good!!
Will eventually get on sale
I pull the trigger on this one eventually, just hoping for a decent sale on it. These days any game above £20 can wait for a bit for me, I have plenty of things to play as it is.
Such a great game and I have to come back to this. I finished it before any real updates were made. So hopefully it’s now even better 😀
