If you're a fan of games like The Sims, INZOI, Disney Dreamlight Valley and others, you'll definitely want to pay attention to the Xbox launch of Palia, which is bringing its popular free-to-play multiplayer game to us for the first time.
Palia is described as a "cozy community sim" where you can fish, farm, cook, explore, build a dream home, and unravel a deep mystery along the way - and you can do this as part of a shared online world "made for you and your friends".
Looking at the Steam reviews, Palia has a "Very Positive" rating based on over 25,000 reviews, so it definitely sounds like it's worth a try when it arrives on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. It's not going to cost you anything to do so!
We'll throw more details about the game down below, along with a few official screenshots. Palia has an official Xbox release date of May 13th, 2025 for Series X and Series S.
Palia is a vibrant new world made just for you. Craft, cook, fish, and farm with friends as you live the life of your dreams and discover an enchanting adventure filled with colorful characters and a mystery to unravel.

I've played a good bit of this on PC, and if you're looking for something relaxing to play, this is definitely one to consider. It's very laid back and enjoyable.
I started it on the Switch but it did not run well. Hopefully the Xbox Series X version is better optimised.
@FraserG Small typo. You said it bringing it to consoles for the first time but it's been on Switch for awhile now.
I’m thrilled that Palia is finally coming to Xbox. My gaming PC is getting quite old, and I’d prefer to play it on console. This game is particularly enjoyable for those who enjoy building. Since the addition of building blocks, I’m astounded by the creativity displayed in some of the designs people come up with. I wish I had that level of creativity.
@Tasuki Good catch, thank you! Fixed now.
This, is going to be my next Stardew-like fix. It looks outstanding!
