When we unveiled the list of Xbox releases for this week a few days ago, we didn't have any confirmed Xbox Game Pass additions at the time, but now we have three - thanks to a new roundup that was revealed by Microsoft yesterday.
Annoyingly they're all spread out between Tuesday and Thursday, so instead of bombarding you with individual posts, we thought we'd just throw them into one list. Monster Train (which is a returning Game Pass title) and One Lonely Outpost are the main new additions, while Galacticare is specifically new for Game Pass Standard members.
So, let's take a look at them! Here's what to expect from this week's Xbox Game Pass titles:
Monster Train - March 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)
Monster Train is a strategic roguelike deck building game with a twist. Set on a train to hell, you’ll use tactical decision making to defend multiple vertical battlegrounds. With real time competitive multiplayer and endless replayability, Monster Train is always on time.
Galacticare - March 5 (New to Game Pass Standard)
Build, manage and optimise intergalactic hospitals! Recruit staff to satisfy the whims of various alien species, and cure their bizarre illnesses - for money! Save the (literal) Galaxy in story mode, or head into sandbox to design the hospital of your dreams.
One Lonely Outpost - March 6 (Console, PC, Cloud)
An alien world sometimes needs a farmer’s touch to bring it to life. In this sci-fi, colonization-life sim, terraform a barren world: turn wastelands into verdant landscapes while exploring, farming, building, and unlocking all the mysteries of this strange new planet.

Monster Train is really good if you like the genre.
Just yesterday -or was it the day before?- I wanted to play it and realized it had left Game Pass so seeing it again it was a really good surprise.
I also like Monster Train for what it is. It plays well on mobile with as well.
One Lonely Outpost looks like it offers some good fun. I might try that one out.
Edit: Scrap that. From what I've read it's right up my street. Farming life-sim, heck yes!
So technically only one new one, not three
@FraserG Does Monster Train re-arrive with DLC? I thought when I downloaded it there was a mention of it but wasn’t sure if it was an add on or was included with the Gamepass version..:
@AlwaysPlaying Not sure about that to be honest! Haven't heard anything either way...
@jesse_dylan I guess, but Monster Train did leave all the way back in 2023. It's been a long time for that one.
@Kaloudz it looks good to me. another game if you have steam that is awesome necesse tons of fun
@VisitingComet1 Yeah I'm very intrigued now that I've seen more of it. Stardew really opened my eyes to this genre.
@FraserG I’m old asf so it seems like it just left to me. 😝 not that I’m not happy to see games come back. I was only able to play it on its way out last time.
One Lonely Outpost looks up my alley. As others have said, Monster Train is a great deck builder if you're into the genre. Well worth a play.
