Completely second this. Probably the best looking game I've played and it's a blast.
It can be relaxing just exploring Japan. And then crazy chaotic when you've been found inside a castle and have two daishos and three guardians coming at you while the ashigaru shoot from a distance. 🤣

And the story is really good so far. Some missions are really really epic.

@OldGamer999 Not too surprising, the PS5’s compression tech is likely responsible. Games are just bigger on Series S/X due to that.

@Lup It's an absolute stunner isn't it? Totally agree too. It can go from zen to hell-let-loose in the blink of an eye.

I was trotting around on my horse, cantering about and taking in the sights, and then a flamin' Ronin slapped me about like I'd just killed his dog.

I love the balance they've found in everything. The map, the push for exploration, the story, the freedom - and the base building. It's so free it's ridiculous.

I have to say, I laughed at that too.
The first time a Ronin tried to kill me I was like"What? But I didn't do anything!".
I was ambushed a few times by a fistful of soldiers too. It's really cool, haha.

I'm using Yasuke a lot more to be honest. I knew I was gonna love him gameplay-wise but I'm also loving his character which in my opinion, it's a lot more interesting than what a normal japanese samurai could have been. 🤣

Bug fixes are always good. I am taking my time robbing castles and bandit camps blind. Gonna have a fully decked out hideout in no time. Why is this game so pretty? Nothing like raiding a castle at night during a thunderstorm. You can’t see me, you can’t hear me. After Naoe’s parkour, the other assassins feel clumsy.

Same!! Like, he just wailed on me (eventually killing me) and I had no idea what the heck I did wrong. I even moved out his walking path so that I didn't knock him down lol.

Ah see, I'm swapping between them but I'm leaning more towards (I cant spell) Naoa? I just love her attire - but I'm almost convinced Yasuke is a little stronger...
