Ahead of the upcoming launch of Hazelight's newest game Split Fiction, EA has provided an overview of the game's tech specs - including some figures for how the game will run on Xbox Series X and S.

The good news here is that both Xbox versions — all console versions, in fact — will run at 60 frames per-second. Xbox Series X and PS5 players will be getting a dynamic 4K resolution at that frame rate, while Series S users are looking at 1080p / 60FPS.

"Split Fiction will also be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and we have made great efforts to create an optimised experience for those of you who plan to play on either console. The game will run at 60fps, giving you and your co-op partner a smooth action adventure thrill ride with Mio and Zoe inside their vivid and beautiful simulated worlds."

"PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will be able to play Split Fiction in incredible detail with the game running at dynamic 4k resolution, meanwhile players on the Xbox Series S will play at a resolution of 1080p."

The much-celebrated team behind A Way Out, It Takes Two and more is bringing Split Fiction to life on March 6th, and we're glad to see them prioritise 60FPS here on both Xbox machines. We're even more glad to see just how generous the team is being with the game's 'Friend's Pass' - we'd love to see more developers do this for co-op titles on Xbox!
