Earlier this month, we informed you all that an Xbox Play Anywhere title was coming to Amazon Prime Gaming in February - and that game is now completely free to claim on the service.
Bethesda's first co-operative take on Wolfenstein launched back in 2019, and is playable across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Head on over to the Prime Gaming landing page right now, and you can grab the Xbox & PC versions of Wolfenstein: Youngblood at no extra cost to Amazon Prime members.
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood Xbox (Available on Prime Gaming until March 20)
This is the only Xbox game that's part of the program this month, as Prime Gaming typically focuses on PC titles. However, this sort of thing has happened once or twice before - notably Bethesda's Fallout 76 was also made free on the service last year.
As for Youngblood, well, it's certainly not the best Wolfenstein game from that series revival back in the Xbox One generation - but it's certainly worth grabbing, especially because this version will be tied to your Xbox account for good. If you don't have access to Prime Gaming, the title is also a part of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass library.

I do wonder if they'll reboot this series to give it a fresh start, or re-release the classics like they did Doom 1 + 2.
I've picked this up, not my favourite, but free is free and I'll give it another run through
It's not a Play Anywhere title. There are two separate versions. One that can only be played on console and the other only on PC.
It's the same for the Fallout 76 example. It's also not Play Anywhere.
I claimed and redeemed but only seem to have the PC version. Not showing up in my Xbox library, and still wants me to pay in store.
UPDATE: My bad, I didn't realise there were two separate titles to claim.
My bad there! I've just edited the link to the Xbox version 🙂
@Kaloudz I really hope we get the classics available on modern hardware. Such a nostalgia trip they are
I keep forgetting Prime Gaming is a thing. Most of the PC games probably won't run on my potato PC, but I really should check it out and claim the games anyway.
@acmiguens I'd love the classics, and that one that came out on Xbox 360, was it?
I remember hearing something about this game being exclusively multiplayer? Am I wrong?
Well, free is free.
it was some ok co-op fun just the last boss was too hard
@Kaloudz I wouldn't know. On the 360 and One I was just aware of the bigger titles. I've only joined the Xbox family with the Series S in 2022.
Also, my region is set for Brazil, so even games and DLC available elsewhere are currently beyond my reach. I can't buy the DLC for Force Unleashed for instance, but I can buy the game. So weird
@acmiguens Ahhh fairly new eh? Yeah I was talking about this one. It's not a popular one but I've heard it's fairly decent. I just never got round to playing it.

Hmmm not sure if I want to considering the mediocre reviews it received.
It was a crushing disappointment after the brilliance of the first two games.
I really hated the dual ammo system and hated it even more when that idea spread to the most recent Far Cry. Hope we never see that nonsense again.
Also it was frustrating as a solo player, having quite obviously not been designed to play that way. Far harder then playing coop.
oh the bad one
This atrocious game is why there has not been another wolfenstein game. Hopefully they will reboot the series i liked the rest. Wolfenstein is such an iconic franchise
Claimed it even though i knew it was weaker than 1 and 2 now you lot have properly put me off playing it 🤣
@Kaloudz There was also a decent one on the very first xbox
@devil76 Oh wow yeah I just checked. Return to Castle Wolfenstein. That'd be cool to see come back too.
