We've seen plenty of Xbox dashboard renditions over the years, right from the OG 360 blades all the way up to the modern Series X|S dashboard, but we never thought we'd see the day where 'Comic Sans' font gets plastered all over the Xbox home screen - until now.
Yep, Xbox's engineering lead Eden Marie has taken to Twitter today to show us all when she tried out Comic Sans font on her Xbox dashboard. Of course, this was never released as an option for the public or anything - just as something being messed around with internally at Xbox HQ.
We must admit... we kind of like this? Like, sure we probably wouldn't stick with this font in particular - but something about it looks pretty cool. Maybe Microsoft could look into allowing different font styles as a console customization option? We'd be into that!
However, Marie does add that she tried out the 'Papyrus' font and it didn't work properly, so maybe it's not as easy to add this sort of option as we first imagined! Anyway, we thought this was an interesting look at an alternative Xbox dashboard - one in a world where Comic Sans didn't become some sort of meme font for most of us.
