Xbox Adds Two Surprise Titles To This Month's Game Pass Lineup

I tried getting into Hunt but too many matches end up the same, you kill the monster and you get to the extraction to find a bunch of other players waiting to kill you. They kill you and take the reward.

For the King 1 is amazing. One of those games no one even looked at because it was given with Games with Gold. I already had it and its an amazing one.
Don't sleep on it.
Super hyped about 2. Will probably buy it too.

@FraserG just a FYI. The site has Hunt Showdown 1896 listed as Hunt Showdown 1986. Ignore this comment if it actually turns out Crytek changed the game's name a second time and I'm an idiot 🤣

@Arcticpandapopz and this is why I've stayed away from any and all extraction shooters. The only thing I've even tried that comes close was venturing into the dark zone in The Division 1 and 2.

@Arcticpandapopz ya gotta play the game slower. Everyone will see where you're moving once you have the bounty and you don't know where everyone is at. So they'll anticipate your move to extraction and hunt you. Just assume you're getting stalked all the time & that people will try to get you at various choke points near the bounty of otw to extraction. This game takes a lot of patience and time to learn but it's worth the effort imo. One of the best shooters out there from a skill and tactical perspective without being too fast paced like a lot of F2P shooters. But I definitely get the frustration. Hunt giveth and Hunt taketh away.

Very excited to see more people in Hunt. It definitely takes some time to learn the ropes but it's one of the most rewarding shooters out there. If you're a fan of spatial audio & taking things slowly to suddenly switching to explosive, *alls to the walls gun fights then this is for you. A headshot will kill and 2-3 body shots puts you down, no need to worry about looting for armor because everyone gets (or should at least know to get) health packs. Pro tip for newbies always get a Stamina Shot. Also start with either a weak vitality or full vitality shot and hotkey it so you can quickly recover in fights. Don't set off sound traps & play quietly otherwise you will be "hunted" by the more senior players. Sound is KEY!! Messagee if you wanna play on a West or East Coast server on Xbox. Looking for a 3rd player for trios! Will teach you the basics if you think you're good at shooters & have patience. I'm a 5 star and not a sweaty 6 star. Time to hunt!

@Kilamanjaro Now it's on gamepass, I'll give it another try. When I played it last time,I won one, I took it slowly but the getting killed right at the extraction point is frustrating. I feel like this is a game better played with friends than randoms.

Never got around to For The King although I wanted to. My Thursday night game group just finished the final Remnant DLC, this might be perfect timing.

@Arcticpandapopz definitely helps to have a teammate you can communicate with, you can try the Looking for Group function or start one yourself. If it helps you, pop a 10 min stamina shot and if you see people at extraction just use your stamina and run across the map to another point. The Magpie trait will give you an instant boost and double your Sight to 10 seconds if you're a solo. Nothing better than outrunning campers, aside from fighting them of course. Thursday Dec 12th is the kickoff of a brand new event with Post Malone and the Murder Circus so I'm sure a lot of new players will dive right in. You might also want to try the Bounty Clash mode which is just a condensed fight at a compound & will let you experiment with a bunch of guns. It's brutal but fun.
