It's a massive month on the Xbox front with the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Series X|S, PC and "day one" on Microsoft's Game Pass subscription service.
To celebrate this special occasion, Xbox has added a brand-new dynamic background on Xbox Series X|S. It's available to all users and can be applied to your dashboard right now. Here's a look, courtesy of Klobrille on social media:
To apply this background on your Xbox console, you simply need to go My Games & Apps > Settings > Personalisation > My Background > Dynamic Backgrounds. In there, you'll find the new Indiana Jones and the Great Circle design.
Xbox has also released a brand-new launch trailer for the game, which you can check out in our existing story. Be sure to also see our guide to find out details about the game's release time, date and performance.
Will you be applying this dynamic background to your Xbox dashboard? Let us know in the comments.

I’ve been digging the cyberpunk one, but will likely switch to this for the game.
But is it actually "dynamic"?
It has a dynamic element to it so yeah it is
Definitely changing my background to this. It's been since Hi Fi Rushs background that I'll be changing it.
I’ve been using Hellblade 2’s theme due to its minimalistic design, but I might switch over for this. It looks great!
Wow I can finally give the pentiment one a break.
Why aren’t there dynamic backgrounds for more third party games? Metaphor and dragon quest 3 come to mind…
Still prefer the Cyberpunk one but really looking forward to play Indy 🙂
Looks decent enough ill switch to it tonight!
Cool! I'll likely put it on for a while. I usually have either the purple nebula that came with my controller, or the eye searing pride one.
I'll have to see if they have any nice christmas themed ones. I'd like to see a relaxing snowfall or something.
@Scummbuddy There is a tiny raindrop, or bit of rubble (it's hard to tell) which falls in front of Indy every few seconds, so it's VERY subtle. To be fair with a UI you DON'T want it to be moving around a lot or it's both distracting and it can make text hard to read if the background is constantly shifting between dark and light. But yeah this one is only just dynamic.
Dynamic in the same way a 100 year old tortoise could be describe as dynamic, not very.
@themightyant also, a snake on the left side pokes it's tongue out.
This going on my series x soon as I get home today.
