Indiana Jones and the Great Circle kicks off its early access period this Friday, and ahead of that initial release, the team has dropped the game's official launch trailer - providing a good look at what to expect from MachineGames' new Xbox adventure.
With that iconic soundtrack in tow, this one is looking and sounding rather epic, and we're looking forward to seeing how Xbox closes out its 2024 release schedule here. It's been quite a big year, and this could end up being one of the team's biggest releases of all.
"Indy’s latest unforgettable adventure is almost here. Uncover one of history’s greatest mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a first-person, single-player adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.
Get ready to don your fedora and whip as you step into the shoes of the legendary archaeologist — Indiana Jones. Embark on an epic globetrotting adventure in a race against enemy forces to uncover the secrets of the mysterious Great Circle.
As we hinted at up at the top there, this week's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release is just for early access players - with the full game dropping next Monday. Next week is when you'll be able to play on Xbox Game Pass - unless you upgrade by picking up the game's premium DLC pack.

My body is ready.
Please don't be broken at launch.
Don't need to see the trailer, i'm already sold and want to go in as blind as possible. Just need to check reviews to see it's not broken at launch. Please be in a good technical state 🤞
This looks so good. I’ve been itching for Xbox to have something like this for so long.
Think the review embargo is 5th.
I will be traveling to Canada during release week so I will have to avoid impressions for awhile
I'm always waiting for this and that and they're always crap, this is gamepasses last chance
@themightyant Same, I've watched next to nothing and won't read review impressions either. This is my most anticipated game in a long time along with GTA VI and the recently announced Alien Isolation sequel. I do want to know it's in good shape but Machine Games have a good track record and I doubt they want to compromise their reputation like so many other devs have this generation.
My only fear is that they’ll butcher the achievement/trophy lists. I’m praying there’s no tedious, grueling ones forcing multiple replays on ever increasing difficulties, or worse yet, ones for some tacked on low effort mode shoehorned in where it doesn’t belong, like some wave survival type slop. These are cardinal achievement hunting sins.
This looks fantastic, and I trust MachineGames to deliver. The X/S needs a strong W—not just a good to great game, but a fantastic one.
Please Stick the landing. Even though it’s going to ps5 eventually soon, it would be nice to see a 1st party exclusive get critical acclaim
This is my most anticipated Game Pass launch since Starfield, at this point I just hope I won’t be disappointed yet again.
Are we there yet
@Fishmasterflex96
Totally agree as not been a vintage year in 2024 for Xbox. Come to think of it neither was 2023.
Stalker 2 enough said.
Avowed is now next year but alas 30fps and now in middle of two other big AAA which both have a 60fps performance mode offering.
So that leaves Indy, if this game is average, it’s another mmmmm Xbox year again.
Please let the first-person POV work.
I predict 84 on metacritic
A review embargo so close to release never bodes well.
