Welcome to this week's Xbox Game Pass update! Over the next couple of days, we have two fresh additions coming to the library, including the 2023 squad-based shooter Aliens: Dark Descent.
But first, let's start with today's brand-new addition to Game Pass:
Nine Sols (Console, PC, Cloud) - November 26

Aliens: Dark Descent (Console, PC, Cloud) - November 27
"In Aliens: Dark Descent, command a squad of hardened Colonial Marines to stop a terrifying Xenomorph outbreak on Planet Lethe. Lead your soldiers in real-time combat against iconic Xenomorphs, rogue operatives from the insatiable Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and a host of horrifying creatures new to the Alien franchise."

They should start dropping some 360 call of duty games already time for a big drop me thinks!
I’ve been wanting to try Aliens Dark Descent so really happy with this. Nine Sols is excellent for anyone who hasn’t played it! Good week.
Will try Aliens Dark Decent eventually I expect.
Nine Sols seems to have a good rep going on comments in the various articles it's mentioned in. Looking at it though it doesn't seem to be something i would enjoy, get frustrated with yes but not enjoy. Don't know might give it a shot but its way down my list at the moment.
Nine Sols is attracting a LOT of attention online from people who have played it. Without trying to hype it up too much it's a bit of a cross between Sekiro and Hollow Knight with it's own flava. Looking forward to seeing if they nail the landing.
EDIT: I missed that it was already out on PC and scored an 85 on Opencritic
I played an hour of 9 Sols and the button placement is a bit tricky and my old man reflexes cause me to die but enjoyed the experience. First game to come with a cruelty warning and deserving of that honour…
Am I right in thinking Aliens dark descent is multiplayer only? 🤔

Aliens: Dark Descent is fantastic! I love it. Be prepared though, it soon becomes quite hard!

With Delta Force launching on PC this week and eventually on console too. Things are actually looking up for PvP shooter fans who are tired of the old status quo.
