Update: We have since been contacted by the team behind Project TH who have advised that no decisions have been finalised regarding an Xbox Game Pass release on day one. Hopefully it happens, but no guarantees!

Original story: This looks like an Xbox Game Pass title to keep an eye on! Project TH is an action-adventure title that was first announced a couple of years ago, and it's now been confirmed for Xbox Series X and Series S (as well as Game Pass).

You can check out the original trailer from 2022 up above, which indicates that Project TH is a shooter with some serious ambition - it's got AAA production values powered by Unreal Engine 5. Some have already pointed out the Splinter Cell vibes, and there's definitely a stealth element to this - as indicated by a series of recent video diaries.

(Be warned that the videos on this page do contain a lot of graphic violence!)

Here's how EVR Studio describes the game, although keep in mind that some details may be lost in translation:

"Based on the webtoon ‘Moodang’ IP, Project TH sets scenes in the Unified Nation of Korea in the near future. The scenario focuses on various events cause among the main characters - Ji Jeong Tae, originally a North Korean soldier who comes to South Korea as a military exchange program participant, Gavi, a member of a rising K-Pop star called ‘ORDO’, and a mysterious terrorist who is known as ‘ID: Ghost’.

The ‘Project TH' consists of numerous cinematic visualizations based on scenarios and narratives that fully packed with infiltration/combat actions with third-person point of view."

The development studio doesn't actually refer to Project TH as a "shooter", but rather a "third-person, interactive action-adventure game" utilising "state-of-the-art digital human technology". Nevertheless, there's clearly a big shooter element to this, as you can see in the trailer above (as well as in one of the video diaries below).

Project TH doesn't have a release date yet, but considering how polished the trailer looked in 2022, here's hoping it won't be too long before we're able to play it on Xbox Game Pass. It'll be interesting to see how this one fares!
