After playing host to Activision's most-successful Call of Duty launch month of all time, Black Ops 6 has now become to the most played game on Xbox in the US - beating out some huge free-to-play titles in the process.
Yep, if you check the current most-played Xbox games list in the US, Call of Duty is top of the pile - ahead of Fortnite, ROBLOX, Minecraft, GTAV and more. Here in the UK, COD is currently second place, with Epic's behemoth that is Fortnite still topping the charts over here.
As Klobrille's tweet hints at up above, Call of Duty's top-of-the-chart position is technically the 'Call of Duty' hub, and not solely Black Ops 6. However, there's no way to separate the two with the series' current release format - and BO6 has hugely contributed to this success either way.
As many of you will know by now, this latest COD title was the first to ever launch day one on Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service. Despite the game's inclusion in the monthly subscription program, sales have remained incredibly strong, largely due to sustained popularity on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
