As usual, the team at Digital Foundry has taken a look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 across every console platform that it's available on - and there's some interesting results here on the Xbox machines, especially last-gen.

As you can see in the comparison video up above, the outlet has tested Xbox Series X|S and both Xbox One and Xbox One X to see how the latest Call of Duty title performs. Generally speaking, the experience is solid on both current-gen Xbox consoles (save for some frame rate drops and hitching here and there), with 60 and 120FPS options available on both systems.

With the scalability of Call of Duty's engine, it's perhaps no surprise to see good options on Xbox Series X and S, but it's actually the Xbox One comparisons that are most interesting here - even just out of sheer curiosity. DF notes that it's a much worse experience on either version of Xbox One compared to current-gen (PS4 Pro is the smoothest last-gen version), but to be honest, we agree that it's almost a miracle the game performs this well on dated 2013 technology.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 6! Runs well on Series X, a touch smoother on PS5, while Series S sits in a tier beneath. We also tested on all last-gen consoles - it runs, it's kinda miraculous it works at all, but ultimately we can't recommend it."

Even on Xbox One this game still very much looks like Black Ops 6, which is quite an achievement given some of the other last-gen ports we've seen over the years. Anyway, the video up above is well worth a watch if you're as curious about all of this as we are - and the bottom line is that Black Ops 6 runs well on pretty much any console as long as you keep your expectations in check.
