Struggling to connect to Xbox's servers today? The good news is that you're not alone.
Throughout the morning, we saw players from across the world reporting that they were unable to access the internet on their consoles, and this led to Microsoft eventually confirming that an issue had occurred:
Obviously this is an ever-changing situation and it could keep rearing its head for a few hours (or days?!), but the likelihood is that it'll be fixed for everyone soon - we're already seeing people confirm that it's up and running for them.

Xbox still tryna outdo playstation I see
@Cherip-the-Ripper Xbox's network issues will come to PS5 in approximately six months.
Well this week PSN has been down, Xbox has been down and Verizon phone service down. Seems like a lot in one week.
Insert a mandatory "sony, xbox, holding a beer" joke here.
I'm just waiting for Xbox to get hacked, and Sony to get hacked for the 3rd or 4th time.
Nintendo is probably safe as there is probably not many alive that want to risk Nintendos lawyers

Never mind that, but I am cross that the rewards updated to a new month today when it said they’d do so on the 7th! I missed out on the 1,000 point Quest Completionist reward, which I only needed one weekly reward to get. ☹️
Servers have been down on psn and Verizon, likely due to the hurricane that is going through the us.
I am in exactly the same position, @Old_Man_Harper. It said I had until the 7th of October to get the 1000 points, I was almost there, and now it has reset 5 days early, and so I've missed out on something that I would definitely have got. They did the same last month too, ending the period early. I don't get it! What's the point in giving us a cut off date, if you're going to end it prior to it anyway...? I wish there was someone that could be spoken to about it, but it's fully automated now, and so pointless (no pun intended!)...

Same here, only needed two more daily quests to get that 1000 points. I had seen it say that the cut off was the 7th, then everything reset last night.
Hey, @Old_Man_Harper, @HarmanSmith, @Ecto-1, not sure what's going on, but mine has reverted back to the 7th of October. It must have been a glitch, or maybe someone jumped the gun and implemented the next monthly points a bit early. Anyway, it might be worth you guys checking to see if yours has corrected too... 😊

Yeah, I checked the Xbox app and there it is, the magic date of 7th of October is back. I'm back in the game for that 1000 points reward - that is, of course, If I can get some nice achievements this week

@Old_Man_Harper Strange. My wife's Xbox profile still has until the 7th and was able to complete her 1000 month quest today where my profile has already moved into the new month rewards since mine were all completed.
Same here! I very quickly pressed start on three Game Pass games and got it before it changes its mind again! 😂
