After initially aiming for a console release in late 2023 before a last-minute delay, it looks like ghost-hunting romp Phasmophobia is actually about to come out on Xbox Series X and S.

Taking to social media, the dev team has announced that wishlisting is officially live for the game on Xbox. You can head on over to the Xbox Store right now to see the game locked and loaded for its "Halloween season" release.

The fact that we're already into October and don't have this 'Halloween season' date is a little confusing, but given that the game is now live on the Xbox backend, we should be seeing a proper launch date very soon. Keep in mind that Phasmophobia is coming to Xbox as a Game Preview title, with the console version being worked on over time from its initial release.

Phasmophobia has been out for over four years now on PC, scaring its players silly with co-op ghost-hunting shenanigans since September 2020. It has over half a million user reviews on Steam as well, and the team will be hoping to capture some of that popularity here on Xbox.
