Back at the start of the month, we spotted that the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater social media accounts had begun displaying new artwork to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary, and we questioned whether something new was in the works.
Well, it seems that might be the case! In an appearance on Mythical Kitchen earlier today, Tony Hawk spilled the beans about "something" that he's working on with Activision right now, although he wasn't willing to divulge too much:
"I wish I could tell you more, but I can tell you that I've been talking to Activision again, which is insanely exciting. We're working on something. That's the first time I've said that publicly. It will be something the fans will truly appreciate."
As you can probably tell, Tony seems extremely hyped for whatever he's cooking up with the folks at Activision, and we're obviously hoping it's a new game - maybe that THPS 3+4 remake that was supposed to happen years ago?
Whatever it ends up being, it's exciting to know that we've potentially got more Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on the horizon, and don't forget that Activision is part of Xbox these days, so technically a new game would be an Xbox first-party title!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4?
I refuse to get any hopes up. I've been burned a lot in recent months of this sort of teasing and it's not been "the thing that you want" and something else.
So I'm setting my expectations to "documentary about the series"
God I hope it's the THPS 3+4 Remaster.
@abe_hikura The documentary already exists, so it's unlikely to be that. It's called 'Pretending I'm a Superman: The Tony Hawk Video Game Story' and it came out back in 2020.

3+4 remaster I think it's safe to say is unanimously what the fans want! Would love that so much, it was a blast playing through 1+2 again this year

Gimme THPS 3+4 Remake AND ANNNNND American Wasteland Remake.
THPS 3+4 is all I really want, and hopefully it’ll be multiplatform. I cannot stand the horrendous, god awful Xbox Dpad, and the slightly convex face buttons also feel a bit awkward when trying to bust out combos in the tens of millions.
If it's not 3+4 or a new entry from a reformed Vicarious Visions, I do not even remotely care.
I'd actually prefer an Underground 1 + 2 remake/remaster or a new Underground game over a THPS 3 + 4 remake.
@Vordus or a "remastered and extended" version of the documentary with a paid dynamic background.
