We've been enjoying The Crew Motorfest ever since we touched down on the island of Oahu last September, and it sounds like the team over at Ubisoft has some big plans for the game's second year - starting with a free map in November before delivering even more "exciting updates" in the future.
Yep, right after the game introduces its racers to Maui — the game's second map — Motorfest will kick off its second year of updates. Year 2 begins with one of the community's long-running gripes with the series: proper functioning mirrors are coming to the game on November 6th!
Beyond this highly-requested tweak for current-gen consoles and PC, and the addition of Maui of course, the team hasn't detailed what else is coming to The Crew Motorfest in Year 2 just yet. However, developer Ivory Tower has committed to "exciting quality-of-life updates" throughout the game's second year, as it aims to "enhance your gameplay experience" even further.
Honestly, this level of post-launch support is pretty fantastic, especially a whole second map at no extra cost to TCM owners. And, while working rear-view mirrors seems like a small addition in comparison, it has been a long-standing community concern, and it's good to see the team continue to address this sort of thing. We're also getting an offline update in the future, which is great news for the game in the long run after the unfortunate fate of The Crew 1 earlier this year.
