We're always being treated to some excellent bargains on Xbox, but this one really is quite special!

This week, Ubisoft has put its 2018 racing game The Crew 2 on sale with a discount of 98%, bringing it down from a price of £39.99 / $49.99 to just £0.80 / $1.00. At that kind of reduction, we feel like you'd be crazy not to buy it!

You might be questioning whether it's worth grabbing an always-online game from six years ago, but that's where there's more good news - as mentioned earlier today at Pure Xbox, The Crew 2 will get an offline mode in the future.

If you haven't come across it before, The Crew 2 is an open world game that's not just about racing with cars, as it also features bikes, boats and planes. The game was supported with new updates for a very long time prior to the arrival of The Crew Motorfest last year, and this even included 60FPS patches for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

Speaking of Motorfest, if you'd rather buy that one (which will also get an offline mode in the future), it's currently on sale on the Xbox Store as well - you can get the cross-gen version at 50% off right now. Obviously the deal is nowhere near as good as The Crew 2's 98% discount, but we reckon Motorfest is the best game in the series.
