Right, remember this game called Enotria: The Last Song that was indefinitely delayed for Xbox yesterday because the developers apparently couldn't get in touch with Microsoft for two months over it? We're already getting signs of a positive resolution, as the team has publicly thanked Phil Spencer and Team Xbox for their support.
Taking to Twitter, it was explained that Phil and his team reached out "so promptly" when the news began breaking in an effort to fix the situation, and now Jyamma Games is working closely with Microsoft on the Xbox version:
"We would like to officially thank Phil Spencer and his team for reaching out to us so promptly and helping to resolve our situation. We would also like to thank our amazing community for all the support shown in recent days. Your voice has been heard very loud and clear, and your commitment has been heartwarming."
"We are now working closely with Microsoft, and we hope this collaboration will lead to the game's release for Xbox as soon as possible."
Yesterday, the company's CEO posted a pretty emotional statement on Discord about Microsoft's handling of the problem, even going as far as to suggest that the company didn't care about the game or its fanbase.
Obviously the best scenario here would have been the issue not occurring in the first place, so let's hope that Phil and his team can learn from this one to make sure it doesn't happen again. It sounds like they're doing just that!

Amazing what a bit of bad publicity will do!
I hope Microsoft is realizing that its support teams aren't as up to snuff as they should be - all this restructuring is causing balls to drop left and right.
It shouldn't take public outcry for Microsoft to step up and help developers when there is a team dedicated to helping developers - especially on a platform that is getting skipped by developers more and more often.
Lol, now watch the game review at a 6.
Goes to show how Xbox internal systems on this sort of thing are a bit messed up.
It takes bad publicity and the big boss man to step in to get it sorted.
Hope Phil is sorting out the Xbox department involved for this mess up in the beginning.
It should be a pain in the ass to work with those Enotria guys. Now, they are happy because they talked to the manager!
It didn't have anything to do with the Series S as some people would like you to believe, so maybe this can finally make those people shut up.
(It won't).
This makes a second very public immediate reaction by MS after they were called out. Very sad and terrible business practices.
Does this mean everybody should vent poor treatment publicly to get support teams attention?
Would be nice if they Microsoft made Phil and booty and whoever at the top step down to bring in someone who wants Xbox to be #1 and not ok with being last
I have dirty thinking, but I think these people had a game that no one was talking about and they asked themselves, “how can we get people talking about our game? well what the press likes the most is sensationalist news, especially Xbox news, here we go”.
I don't know how the bureaucracy of publishing games on Xbox works, but all the indies publish their games without problems, so I doubt it's especially problematic, I think they wanted to get some media to talk about their game and that's what they have achieved.
Nothing works like a charm than throwing childish tantrums and getting (it) your way. But hey, at least this should stop the Series S scapegoat warriors 🤣.
This is the second similar case of a game dev having issues with Microsoft in a short span of time. Sometimes I wonder if they just wait around for fires to put out. It feels like it with cases like this.
Also it's good this got resolved, but this is giving me flashbacks to when Phil promised the PC Xbox app would be improved and then never was. Here's hoping this won't be a sequel to that.
@TheSimulator we are you getting that they don’t wanna be number one? Curious here.
The internet has spoken !!
@Cikajovazmaj TBH... when dealing with these massive 1 trillion-dollar companies. The only thing that will get their attention is call them out publicly. We've seen it countless of time, not just with Microsoft, but other companies as well. These companies have completely separated themselves from the rest of society. To the point that it near impossible to get ahold of anyone unless you're also a billion-to-trillion-dollar company and have direct contacts.
@IssaBrvndo he gave up with the whole console war but before said it was good for competition then while ps buys exclusives and timed games he’s just throwing everything at them with nothing in return … doesn’t seem like a man who wants to be number 1 he’s just too comfortable with “whatever “ happens
@armondo36 sometimes a 6 is a personal 8/9… or just our kinda jam.
@Pabpictu Honestly, I had heard zero about it before all of this, and given it's a "Souls" affiliated game, it's just as well I hadn't. I'll never play it. Lol. It's a big "MEH!" story to me. Lol.
Great, looks like two problems were fixed this week (with this game and with Capcom fighting Collection)
@themightyant I'm saying this developer is making a huge whiny fuss over a game that doesn't exactly look like it's going to set the world on fire.
That's nice ...atleast I will have the option to now never play this game on Xbox at some point
@TheSimulator I can see why you’d say that. I’m a person who likes to see what happens in due time. I think there is a master plan behind all the actions being done. So we shall see what comes of all of this.
