As part of the 2024 THQ Nordic Showcase that took place earlier today, we were treated to the reveal of Wreckfest 2 for the very first time - a feature-filled sequel that will officially be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
It really sounds like developer Bugbear is going "all out" for this one, with Wreckfest 2 set to feature a rebuilt physics simulation engine, an improved armour and damage system, a completely reimagined career mode, skill-based matchmaking, upgrades to customisation, and even the addition of local split-screen for two-player co-op.
We'll throw some more details about Wreckfest 2 down below, which doesn't have a release date as of yet. Don't forget the first game is still included with Xbox Game Pass as well - you should definitely try it if you haven't already!
"Ascend to the throne of full-contact racing by breaking the rules - and everything else - on your way to victory!
Wreckfest 2 features even higher crash fidelity, a deeper armor and damage system, more intricate component damage simulation and many more improvements across the board!"
