Microsoft has announced another selection of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass Core, with three games entering the basic Game Pass library today, August 21.
Remember, this library essentially replaces the old Games with Gold service - the tier's selection of titles is playable at no extra cost for Game Pass Core (former Xbox Live Gold) members.
Anyway, here's an introduction to all of today's new additions:
Cities: Skylines
"Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience."
Control Ultimate Edition
"Winner of over 80 awards, Control is a visually stunning third-person action-adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Blending open-ended environments with the signature world-building and storytelling of renowned developer, Remedy Entertainment, Control presents an expansive and intensely gratifying gameplay experience."
SnowRunner
"Get ready for the next-generation off-road experience! Drive powerful vehicles and overcome extreme open environments to complete dozens of challenging missions solo or with up to 3 friends!"
Will you be playing any of these titles on Game Pass Core? Tell us which down in the comments!

All third-party titles, still no major titles from Microsoft or its subsidiaries, eg: Minecraft. I think that will be the policy going forward...
Last two gens, Microsoft are really doing all they can to create confusion for their customers. Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Series X, Series S, Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass Core, Ultimate, different console versions of same game, etc.
Grandma going to store for Christmas presents is nothing but massive confusion. Microsoft with typical poor marketing and messaging.
