Earlier this week, we got a big deep dive into all things Stalker 2 in the wake of its recent delay - and now the team has dropped a shorter, more stripped-back look at the title. Featuring mostly combat-free exploration of the game's sprawling open world, this walkthrough is an absolute treat for the eyes, and it's getting us even more hyped for the team's November launch.

As usual, we've plonked the new Stalker 2 'World & Locations' trailer up above for you to all enjoy, and we'd recommend using some good headphones for this one. Developer GSC Game World really dials in on those atmospheric ambient sounds here, and at this point we just want to explore this big old world on Xbox!

"A seamless open world spanning more than 60 square kilometers. It hides many secrets, decorations, and is filled with history. Abandoned houses, reactors, labs, undergrounds, and art objects. The Zone is different, and it is her allure. Wherever you go, you will feel the unique atmosphere. But explore carefully."

To be fair, it's not just this trailer that has us excited. A few months ago, we got to play around 40 minutes of this long-in-development Stalker sequel, and we came away feeling like it was a must play title later this year on Xbox Game Pass. Yes, that good!

We'll throw our preview down below, alongside a link to this week's big Stalker 2 deep dive from GSC Game World. You'll be able to go hands-on with the game yourself, as long as it's not delayed again, on November 20th, 2024.
