Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games to leave Xbox Game Pass in August 2024, and we have four games departing the service in a few weeks' time. If you've been meaning to play any of these Xbox Game Pass titles, you'll have to get a move on!

As usual, you can get a discount of at least 20% on each of these games until they leave Xbox Game Pass in mid-August, and if you're lucky, they might be reduced even further as part of Xbox's digital sales promotions this week.
Of course, it's a shame to be losing these four Game Pass titles this month, but we should be in for plenty of August additions soon. Mafia: Definitive Edition arrives in just over a week, which is one we're quite excited about jumping into!

I think I had Airborne Kingdom downloaded at one point but didn't get around to playing it. Might have to revisit that one quickly.
Random and off topic, but I just booted up my Series X and it has forgotten all my network settings. This is the second time it’s done that recently. Anyone else have this problem? Full Restarting seems to fit it but a little worrying/annoying
I never tried Airborne Kingdom. I feel like we got a lot in this management sim vein with this game, Wandering Village, Dungeons 4, and Steamworld Build (and another one - commonhood?) in rapid succession, and I checked out everything but this. It looked fun, though.
@themightyant Sometimes mine loses all connection even though I am wired. Takes a couple times of powering off & on to get it back. Pain in the arse!
Are people still playing Texas chainsaw? Played on release. Enjoyed it. Really captured feeling of the movie perfectly. I'm just terrible at the game. People that played it religiously destroyed me constantly.
@themightyant I have the same problem on my series x , It happens once I turn off my console, and yeah seems like once I restart the console , everything goes back to normal, your not alone.
@kingtoten @JamesOtown Thanks Gents, glad i'm not alone. Even if it doesn't solve the problem, it's more comforting knowing my Series X isn't borked.
@DoctorJohnDisco It definitely wasn't going to stay on GP forever, but that absolutely will hurt it. I tried playing it and... it's definitely novel, but the gap between the super hardcore "I know how to abuse iframes and stunlock killers" and "hey I'm new here, whos this goofy looking killer, that might be fun..." was already ocean-wide two months in and was stomping out new players left and right.
TCM was great. Really enjoyed it on release and put a fair few hours in.
I didn’t even realize airborne kingdom was on here. Oops. The sequel is coming soon. Hope it comes to GP.
I started Shadow Warrior just yesterday to try and finish it before it leaves but …. What is that game ?? LOL complete chaos and craziness crammed in a hack and slash / fps. It is mindless fun and for a gamepass game it is good to play through but it is a kind of weird one.
Nevertheless , it is a pretty short game and easy to complete within the given time before it leaves.
@Sol76 Shadow Warrior 3 was such a disappointment for me after Shadow Warrior 2. Definitely an odd game by comparison.
Very likely Persona 5 Tactics and Like a Dragon Gaiden The man will be leaving Game Pass on November 16.
