The next game in the Descenders series has been announced! Swapping out the mountain bike for the mountain board, Descenders Next leans in on the extreme sports angle in this full-blown follow-up - and it's coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2025!
We've thrown the game's debut trailer up above, which gives us a good taste of what to expect from this boarding adventure next year. We'll also drop a quick introduction to the game down below, directly from the official game page:
"It's time to conquer the world of extreme sports. This is Descenders Next. Grab your snowboard and tackle the steep, snowy slopes, or tear up the harsh, lush terrain with your mountainboard! Feel like taking on the challenge with a squad? Match up with your friends and Descenders players all around the world, and take on the tracks together! The mountain is calling - will you master it?"
Specific console platforms haven't been announced for Descenders Next yet, beyond "Steam and Game Pass", but we're fully expecting this one to hit Xbox consoles too. PC Game Pass subscribers can already get excited of course, and hopefully we hear news about Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in the near future.
