It's been a while since we last heard about 33 Immortals — the co-op action roguelike that's coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2024 — but it's back today with a free playtest that Xbox fans can access on Series X and Series S this weekend.
The test begins in a few hours' time and lasts until August 26th, accessible via the Xbox Insider app. You may not see it just yet, but when it does eventually go live on there, here's what you'll need to do to start playing:
- Go to the Xbox Insider Hub app and select Previews.
- Look for the 33 Immortals Preview.
- Select to join the playtest, and you'll be directed to the Microsoft Store
- Download the game, and you should be able to start playing!
Keep in mind that the 33 Immortals playtest is available on a first come, first serve basis, so you'll want to register as quickly as possible to avoid missing out. It seems PC players will be able to join via the Xbox Insider Hub as well.
There's no release date for the full version of 33 Immortals yet, but hopefully we'll find out more soon!
