Surprise! VALORANT's Open Beta Is Now Free For Everyone On Xbox Series X|S

Following a limited beta that arrived for Riot Games' hugely popular hero shooter VALORANT back in June, it's been announced today that the game's Open Beta is now available to everyone on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S!

We had a chance to try VALORANT on Xbox a few weeks ago, praising it as a version that "plays very well on console" and highlighting how Riot Games had done a "brilliant job making the gunplay feel great on a controller".

To get started, all you need to do is search for VALORANT on the Xbox Store and look for the install button. The game clocks in at around 33GB on Xbox Series X, and as you'd expect it's free to download and play.

VALORANT is a character-based 5v5 tactical shooter set on the global stage. Outwit, outplay, and outshine your competition with tactical abilities, precise gunplay, and adaptive teamwork.
