We're winding down the month of June, and we've just been treated to a new free-to-play game on Xbox to kick off July! That game is Bleach: Brave Souls, which is a 3D action title from a few years ago that is making its Xbox debut.
But that's not all! The biggest new free-to-play Xbox release of the early July period is The First Descendant, which is finally arriving on July 2nd. We've talked about this game at Pure Xbox before - a third-person looter shooter (built on Unreal Engine 5, no less) that looks absolutely awesome so far.
We'll drop some trailers and more details for each of these free-to-play Xbox games down below, but we should also mention that pre-loading for The First Descendant will begin on June 30th, allowing you to get ready ahead of time.
Bleach: Brave Souls (Available Now On Xbox)
"Tite Kubo's hit manga and TV anime series BLEACH comes to life in this 3D hack-and-slash action game! The game faithfully reproduces the story of the BLEACH anime, Shonen Jump manga, and novels in loving detail with fantastic graphics and all-action gameplay."
The First Descendant (Tuesday, July 2nd)
The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. Experience the fun of strategic boss fights through 4-player co-op and various unique characters, exciting gunplay, and looting. A variety of equipment is necessary for growth, and you can obtain them through clearing scenario missions within the game or in the World Missions where cooperation is crucial and battles with huge bosses."
