Hyped for Gears of War: E-Day? Looking to play something similar before its rumoured 2025 release window? Well, it might be worth checking out Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, which comes to Xbox Series X|S later this year.
Following a few chunky delays, Space Marine 2 looks like it's shaping up nicely, and a fresh gameplay overview trailer has us pretty darn excited about this one. It looks like it ups the ante in terms of overall scale, and if the gameplay is there to match, we should be in for a real treat with this upcoming co-op shooter.

Part of the reason we mention Gears here, aside from the E-Day hype of course, is that the first Space Marine game was often mentioned as a decent alternative to the Xbox exclusive series - and we're hoping that trend continues with the sequel.
