Playground Games has unveiled a new premium car pack for Forza Horizon 5, and this one brings five movie star cars to the open world racer. Available today for $10, Horizon's finest drivers can go hands-on with five new rides inspired by the likes of Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and Knight Rider.
Up above you can take a look at all of these new vehicles in action at Horizon Mexico, and we'll drop a tweet down below that contains all the info you need to know.
Now, we are used to the bulk of Forza Horizon 5 content being free at this stage, so it's maybe a little disappointing that not everyone can go hands-on with these new cars. Still, the support for this game has been fantastic, and considering these are licensed by Universal in some way, it's understandable that Xbox is charging a fee for this DLC.
Anyway, the Universal Icons Car Pack drops in Forza Horizon 5 today, June 18, and it's available for $10 or your regional equivalent.
Will you be picking up this Forza Horizon 5 car pack? Tell us your plans down below!

$10... this should get more flak than the $7 Starfield quest/armor/gun mission!!
That's not even 5 cars, more like 3 cars.
1.99$ maybe.. if that..
Not supporting this kind of stuff, never.
My biggest grudge here is that’s just 3 cars. Wish we had gotten Fast and the Furious Don’s Dodge and Ghostbusters Ecto 1 instead of 3 versions of the Delorean.
Where is the Mad Max Ford Falcon XB hardtop V8 Interceptor? Or the A-Team GMC?
Are these packs included with the ultimate edition? Just recently got the most deluxe edition…
The 007 pack for Forza Horizon 4 gave us ten unique and iconic cars for $10.
Giving us 3 and passing them off as 5 for the same price is absurd.
For me the Delorean, KiTT, The Striped Tomato (if the car is in the game probably quite easy to make), 60's Batmobile and as others have said Ecto1 and A-Team GMC
@EvenStephen7 Yeah, the Bond pack also contained some cars that you just never see in games like the Z8 and a couple of the old Astons.
Still, I don't think this is the worst thing in the world considering Call of Duty and the likes charge about $30 for cosmetic packs. When you consider how much free content FH5 gets as well.
$10 is pretty steep, but not crazy given how much games seem to charge for cosmetics, etc. It'd be much better if these were available as challenge rewards as they've done that in the past (including for the DeLorian that's been in the game before).
I might consider this though as these are some cars I'd really like to have in game, but it should have been cheaper considering the Bond pack for the previous game had more cars in for the same price.
@Kezelpaso “Absurd” was too strong of a word on my part (blame just waking up). There are definitely worse cases out there; it’s just a surprising step back to me. For instance, there are a few Jurassic Park vehicles they could have used or other WB properties to leverage.
Then again, I’m a massive 007 fan so anything would have a hard time competing with FH4’s pack for me.
You’re not wrong though; they’ve been great at providing free FH5 content up to this point.
Such a great game that gets even greater!
Is the scanning light of KITT really this odd as in the trailer? This is more a lit snake rushing back and forth. I mean: in the trailer the lights itself move, they are not lit one after another
I mainly want it for Jurassic Park. Definitely considering it!
Wait, is that KITT?!
Gimme
Two wrongs don't make it a right.
Comparing it to greedier games (COD) doesn't really take away from it.
But that's capitalism I guess...
For all of those people who have a DMC-12 in their car collection purely due to Doc's car and similar, $10 is pocket change.
Yes, it's 'expensive', but the cars are ones that various people would give their eye teeth to have genuine versions of in any racing game.
I'll just download a user created livery and put it on the Delorean. That's good enough for me. There's enough quality Jurassic Park liveries for the Jeeps created by passionate creators on Forza Horizon.
A bit steep. If KITT would change into pursuit mode with an animation and sound after going a certain speed, or with a push on a button like the Mercedes AMG One. They could've done something "more" special with it, like a transforming car. They must have thought about it, no doubt!
I expected the cabrio's to be more like GTA too but PGG seem to have some troubles doing that for every cabrio vehicle in the game so animations were too big of challenge I bet.
Ouch. 3 deloreans. Could have had KITT, KITT in pursuit mode, and KARR, and maybe even GOLIATH.
I am bit out of touch with the DLC for this game. I take it this and the Fast X DLC are not included in the premium FH5? Are there any others which are being sold separately too?
Yeah like many have said , just create your own liveries.
Instead of licensing all these cars which are already in the game because of their movie connections , how we have some new cars that the series have never had.
give us some classics.
like the Reliant Scimitar
Ford Cortina Mk3
Gilburn Invader
Triumph Herald / Vitesse
Peugeot 606
Rover P6
I would pay for fresh new cars.
for many that play these games its a nostalgia factor. we either remember these cars as kids, our family owned one or even owned them.
one thing i find with Forza , GT and the like is they use the same cars year in year out. its actually getting boring.
seems pointless to keep on buying the various iterations.
Can I just buy KITT by itself?
