Hellblade 2 officially launches one week today, and Xbox has announced that fans can go down to the Microsoft Experience Centre in London and play two hours of the title in its 'Xbox Gaming Lounge' next week.
Unfortunately, there's no early access with these Hellblade 2 'Play Sessions'. Fans can book time slots on May 21, May 22 and May 23 - when the game will be out for all players on Xbox Game Pass anyway.
Still, it'd be pretty cool to jump into the first few hours of the game down at the centre - we'd assume it'll be a nice, immersive experience for Hellblade fans. Shame we're so far away from London at the moment, but if you're in the area, it might be worth a look!
"The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Senua returns in a journey of survival through the myth of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming challenges within and without.
Join us at the London Microsoft Experience Centre as we celebrate the launch of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. Experience the first 2 hours of immersive gameplay in our Xbox Gaming Lounge."
Anyway, if you are interested, you can register online for a free slot on a first-come, first-serve basis - ahead of the first sessions kicking off on May 21st.

Sounds like a stupid marketing idea. Even though playing the game with some stuff's comments and advices might be interesting, most of the bloggers and influencers would prefer streaming the game from their homes and discussing it with subscribers and followers.
Cripes Microsoft. Having a "fan play session" AFTER the game is released has to be one of the single dumbest "marketing" ideas. Shoot the person who came up with it
(I almost mean it. Where's Bill Hicks when you need him.)
I don’t see the point?! Most will have completed it by the 23rd?!
After you play the game for two hours you get an award, Matt Booty and Sarah Bond will personally say you played the game great and then security will escort you away from the building….
How about you advertise the game. And Xbox consoles. And anything to do with Xbox in general.
Boring on a public scale nice🥴
Awesome. It could have used more marketing much earlier though. But, with it being day one on gamepass Xbox and PC I guess they save money since most of us know about it already. Advertisement costs alot. Still, it could have used more marketing for sure. Im still very excited for it.
Wonderful this must have taken all the Xbox advertising and marketing budget for the last 4 years.
That’s it for marketing for next 4 years, so enjoy.
Bro if you can’t battle like god of war , assassin creed or elden ring this game was fluff In the trailer … scorn was the same thing just hype and made out to be something more .. should’ve just made this a animated film and I would watch it but if I’m walking and looking at a wall for puzzles then I’m good I don’t want a long day of work to spend money or time on a slow paced game . I’ll see reviews and gameplay but I really hope the battles aren’t controlled
Quite generous, 2 hours is like a 3rd of the game.
laughable. Microsoft xbox 'marketing' is just such a non-event! How about some bus adverts or other ads than non xbox owners may actually see? How do they ever expect things to change!
Man…1/2 the comments on here hating on the event. Clearly it’s not for people who already have an Xbox; they letting people essentially come try who otherwise probs never would
@DJKingaling 100 % agree this site has gotten really bad lately . Have to complain about everything . I get it but wow what happened to gaming being about fun . Does not matter what Xbox does one will complain about anything these days . My god Xbox is putting this out for potential non gamers to check it out . What is the problem
@Absolutecarnage some people just expect better and more from Xbox in 2024 . The whole waiting 5 years after a trailer for a game that we don’t even know the gameplay less than a week later is concerning and let’s not speak about games like perfect dark and many more . There’s a reason why nobody knows the direction of Xbox brand now it’s nothing to do with it’s fans because we don’t make the decisions
