Xbox's May 2024 update has been detailed today by Microsoft, and although we don't actually have any new features to report on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, there is something really cool for Xbox Cloud Gaming users.
As of today, xCloud now includes Mouse and Keyboard support for 26 games, allowing you to jump into the likes of Halo Infinite, The Sims 4, ARK: Survival Evolved and Cities: Skylines Remastered without being forced to use a controller.
Here's the full list of games with M&K support for Xbox Cloud Gaming so far:
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- Atomic Heart
- Cities: Skylines – Mayor’s Edition
- Cities: Skylines – Remastered
- Deep Rock Galactic
- DOOM 64
- Fortnite (browser only)
- Gears Tactics
- Grounded
- Halo Infinite
- High On Life
- House Flipper
- Inkulinati
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
- Norco
- Pentiment
- Quake
- Quake 2
- Sea Of Thieves
- Slime Rancher 2
- Sniper Elite 5
- State of Decay 2
- Terraria
- The Sims 4
- Valheim
- Zombie Army 4: Dead War
Now, the big catch here is that mouse and keyboard support for xCloud only works on Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers right now, with no cloud integration on console or the Xbox PC app as of yet. It will be coming soon to the Xbox PC app though - you should see it becoming available at some point later this month.
Elsewhere in the May 2024 update, the PC app has also benefited from some extra Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 promotion ahead of its release next week, along with some Compact Mode updates for Windows handheld users.

I thought Mouse/keyboard controls are for those folk who need mega accuracy with zero latency? Cloud gaming has its issues with latency and there is a lag there it has to be said. I dont know who this is for🤷♂️
@hbkay This is for me. I'll finally be able to enjoy SoT during my lunch break on my Linux laptop (never been able to setup a controller on Linux). Perfect.
I agree it's laggy, but it'll be just fine for chilling around.
@RamiBalek well there’s my answer!! Enjoy bro👍
