We just got our first Xbox Game Pass roundup for May 2024, which breaks down the service's early May additions, but we're already starting to hear about a title that could be included in the late May lineup as well. According to outlet eXputer, 2023's soulslike Lords Of The Fallen will be coming to the Game Pass library later this month.
The report itself originates from well-known leaker 'eXtas1s', who claims to know the exact Game Pass arrival date for Lords of the Fallen. However, for now they're just telling us that it's coming "in the last week of May" - in case Microsoft decides to shuffle the lineup around a little bit.
For context, 'eXtas1s' was the source behind a recent rumour that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was coming to the service in early May. Of course, that turned out to be true - even if it's the original version of Brothers arriving on May 14th rather than the 2024 remake.
As for Lords of the Fallen itself - this move does make sense, if it turns out to be correct. The game's recent 1.5 update "concludes the Free Content Roadmap" for LOTF, with development now winding down on the 2023 soulslike. We should get confirmation of Microsoft's late May Game Pass lineup in the middle of the month, so it might be worth looking out for Lords of the Fallen in that lineup.
Will you play Lords of the Fallen if it joins Xbox Game Pass this month? Tell us your thoughts down below!

And I still wouldn't try it, such atrocious optimizing, I bought wo long after the game pass launch because there was ACTUAL EFFORT to make a great optimized game
@Scirius I asked on some players recently and apparently the performance is much improved. They've made a LOT of patches since launch. But i'd like to see a proper analysis, failing that I will just give it a go.
Ironically I don't mind a Soulslike that isn't from FromSoft so I might try it.
Ohhh this would be good news if true. I will be resubbing to GP later in May to give Hellblade 2 a try so LOTF would be a juicy bonus.
Probably true as the ps5 version has been dropped to £15 physical, usually when that starts happening it hits one of the subs.
Good news.
Keep them coming.
Nah, these guys couldn't give a rat's @ss about the Xbox version and now they're planning to have it on Gamepass? It's the Microsoft I guess 🙃...
I'm much more interested on the dlc for Lies of P, a much, much better game and with good optimization.
Good timing if true. I was thinking of buying it for $20 on Walmart (PS5 version is that low while I think the XBOX version is pricer). I’m going to wait and hope it gets confirmed for Game Pass now. Thanks for the heads up!
