Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche has today announced that its long-promised summer update is launching for all platforms on June 6th. The main new feature here is a fully-fledged photo mode for the Harry Potter RPG, while a bunch of PlayStation-exclusive DLC will also be making its way over to Xbox next month.
As far as we can tell there doesn't appear to be any other major features coming with this update, although we'd expect to team to probably apply some small bug fixes and changes with its summer update. Anyway, here's a look at what's coming to Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox in a week's time:

It seems that some fans were hoping for a 'New Game+' feature to arrive as part of this summer update, but such an addition looks unlikely at this stage. The team is now working on a new project, with Hogwarts Legacy becoming available on all current platforms when the Nintendo Switch version finally launched in November 2023.
Anyway, the developer has always been pretty open that this was going to be a small update for Hogwarts Legacy, and photo mode is a great addition to this open-world title. We have a feeling that there'll be some pretty amazing shots to be taken throughout the world of Hogwarts!
Is this enough to tempt you back into the wizarding world? Tell us your thoughts down below.

If this finally brings Parity to the Xbox Version of Hogwarts, I may finally buy it. I know I could have bought the PS5 version to get that content, but I refuse to support that business model.
It may well be 'enough' to tempt me in to the Wizarding World of Hogwarts Legacy for the first time...
Definitely going to play that quest.
Thanks Avalanche for bringing the additional content that Sony moneyhatted to Xbox, Switch and PC.
Thank goodness for Sony paying for all this content to exist, otherwise the other 3 platforms worth of gaming consumers would never have access to such amazing content for the same purchase price a year and a half later, even in countries where PSN doesn't exist! Shame He Who Must Not Be Named didn't think to moneyhat a VR mode for his $550 VR platform while he had the checkbook open.
I may have to jump back in to play the Hogsmeade quest. Really enjoyed my time in this game and was sad when it was done, so one more trip can't hurt.
