Since Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, there's been lots of speculation about the team's library and how it'll work with Xbox Game Pass / Xbox Cloud Gaming. The details aren't exactly clear right now, but work relating to some of ActiBlizz's biggest series' could be going on behind the scenes.
As posted over on Reddit, 2015's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has been spotted on Xbox Cloud Gaming. The Reddit user says that if you try and play the title through Cloud Gaming it doesn't work yet - the game freezes on bootup and returns you to the store page.
At the time of writing, Xbox Cloud Gaming only works with select Xbox Game Pass titles, so this Black Ops 3 appearance perhaps hints that some sort of testing is going on for CoD on Xbox Game Pass / Cloud Gaming. This hasn't been confirmed by Microsoft though — and we've seen other games crop up like this in error — so it's maybe best not to get your hopes up too much for now.
We'll keep an eye out for any more news on this, and indeed, if any other ActiBlizz games start mysteriously cropping up as Cloud Gaming compatible. Remember, Xbox signed lots of Cloud Gaming deals in regards to the ActiBlizz catalogue last year, so exactly how these sorts of games will work on the cloud remains to be seen.

Just drop the games already taking far to long only a single game so far is disgusting

@Gollum I'll agree with you if there isn't a massive drop at the June Showcase. I've been expecting a summer drop all year. I hope I'm right.
With so many CoD games, as well as all those modes, DLC/MTX's etc over the years, I can understand why they may want to test aspects on their Cloud servers.
I never expected them to drop 'every' ABK game straight into Game Pass or onto their Cloud either. I am sure they have contracts in place that mean they can't just remove games to add others and/or certain licences to consider as well.
Black Ops 3 was one of my most played CoD games of the XB1+ era and loved its Zombies - especially the 'Old' Zombie maps.
@BAMozzy Which of the Zombies maps do you recommend for a newcomer? I have the game on PS Plus, but I’ve only ever played Zombies Outbreak on the newer Cold War.
@AccessibleDaydream Nacht der Toten was the first and simplest Zombie Map - although with Black Ops 3, they added newer features to the Map but its the most 'basic' round based Zombies map. In fact, the W@W maps gradually introduced new things - like turning the power on, Perk-a-cola and Pack-a-punch that became staples of the mode.
All Maps after these get more complex and added Easter Eggs, buildables etc but can be played just to see how many rounds you can survive.
I'd recommend starting at the beginning - although Der Riese was always a Fan Favourite and quite an easy map to learn as well...
Black Ops 3 holds a special place in my heart, it was the first CoD game that I really got into, it's not my favorite that would be WWII, but I wouldn't mind Blops 3 coming to game pass at all.
@Gollum There is no "drip-feeding" when they released literally one game in 7 months. More like intentional starvation.
