We've got another custom Xbox Series X on the horizon, and this time it's based around X-Men!
Specifically, Xbox and Marvel Animation have teamed up to create an Xbox Series X that features a 2-page story with an exclusive full page cover, "marking the first time an Xbox Series X has been wrapped by a comic book".
Sadly, it's not available to buy - instead it's being given away as part of a social media sweepstakes:
"Xbox and “X-Men ’97” have come together to bring you a very special Xbox Series X wrapped in a limited-edition comic inspired by the all-new series and created by Marvel writer Rich Douek and artist Paco Diaz. This thrilling 2-page story with full page cover is exclusive to the Xbox Series X, and features Cyclops leading the X-Men in a battle against Sentinels and Master Mold, with an Xbox Series X console making a special appearance in the Danger Room."
As you can see, the console comes with a custom controller as well, and there are actually 11 different versions of these based on various X-Men characters. Again though, they're sadly just limited to the sweepstakes.
While it's a shame we can't buy anything here, it's definitely worth entering the competition if you're liking the look of this new X-Men Xbox Series X. The odds admittedly aren't great, but you've got to be in it to win it!

Very Cool has to be the best looking custom Xbox I've seen so far
This will sell incredibly good as a collector's item in a few years.
Call me when they start selling special edition consoles like they used to.

Console is stunning, controllers horrendous, only the packaging makes it seem like it's linked to the individual X-men.
But not a fan of these one off competitions vs option to buy.
@InterceptorAlpha I think you misunderstood what they meant, that whichever lucky sod wins it could sell it for a lot as a collectors item in a few years.

why do they keep designing awesome looking controllers and consoles and not selling them!! no excuse for the controllers...

I think Microsoft hate us really, it is the only logical explanation.
They released those "console wraps" last year, and I thought they'd be used to release stuff like this for people to swap out for their favourite franchise and games, but I haven't really seen them release a game based one other than Starfield. I thought they'd be on that like how there were hundreds of those 360 face plates back in the day.
