We'd probably say that March 2024 has been the best month ever for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks program, and Team Xbox isn't done yet with adding new freebies to it, as we've just received another major one this week!
This is the return of the YouTube Premium Free Trial, which is now available in specific regions for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. The Perk gives you three months of YouTube Premium for free - redeemable until late June.
"Get three months of YouTube Premium on us and watch your favourite videos without ads, offline and in the background."
There are a couple of terms and conditions you'll want to know about before redeeming this Perk though. The big one is that you must be a new YouTube Premium subscriber to take advantage. Also, your subscription will renew at the end of the free trial, meaning if you forget to cancel before then, the service will take money from your account.
If you're happy with all of that though, this is a fantastic way to enjoy YouTube on your Xbox without dealing with so many annoying ads! Don't forget to check out the rest of March 2024's Perks lineup before the end of the month as well.

Is this only if accessing YouTube through your Xbox, or will it still apply through other devices?
@Nightcrawler71 It's connected to your YouTube account, so it should apply wherever you use that account.
@FraserG thanks 👍 I may take advantage of the offer then cancel just before the 3 months is up. I still think £12 per month is too expensive. They should do a “lite” version without the music.

Subscribe for the free three months, wait a day, and then cancel the subscription. It will automatically cancel after the ninety days.
Not a great perk if you’ve already used it in the past! I’m surprised YouTube doesn’t just offer it to anyone who wants it. It’s a gimmick to grip you by the throat and make you a subscriber, not a perk.
I've already deleted the YouTube app from my Xbox. Constant ads don't make me want to pay money to get rid of them, they make me want to do something else instead.
