Xbox developer Playground Games has detailed its latest Forza Horizon 5 update — 'Race-Off' — which begins this week at the Horizon Mexico festival. As usual, the new update brings plenty of new vehicles, events and more to Xbox's open world racer.
Starting off with the 'race-off' theme, two new rides will be granted to the Forza Horizon 5 community once certain collective goals are met. Do lots of road racing and eventually fans will earn the '2024 Ford Mustang GT', do plenty of off-road events and the '2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R' will be gifted to all players.
Elsewhere, new outposts will be dotted around Horizon Mexico during this event, while a few new Helmet Piñata collectibles are also up for grabs. As usual, a batch of fresh cars will also be live in the game's monthly festival playlist - and you can read more about the nitty gritty details of this update on the Forza website.
Finally, if you're looking to expand your Forza Horizon 5 experience, a new premium car pack drops alongside this monthly update. The 'Acceleration Car Pack' brings four new vehicles at a cost of $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99, and the team notes that this pack won't be included in the game's Premium Edition or Car Pass - all owners will have to buy it outright.
