Call Of Duty: MW3's Next Update Contains Absolutely Tons Of New Content

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has just unveiled its next batch of seasonal content - and this is one of series' biggest updates for quite some time. Alongside the return of the ever popular Rebirth Island Warzone map, MW3 is getting six core multiplayer maps, four weapons, four game modes and a whole lot more throughout Season 3.

As the roadmap takes into account, a chunk of this content will arrive on day one of MW3 Season 3, while another bunch of goodies will drop mid-season. Modern Warfare 3: Season 3 initially kicks off on April 3rd, and will last for a couple of months before Season 4 rolls around.

Modern Warfare 3 launched as Xbox's first Call of Duty title under Microsoft ownership last November, and we were initially a bit lukewarm on the Modern Warfare 2 sequel. However, if we see more content-filled updates like this, we'll continue to be tempted to jump back in during the coming months.
