Xbox Adds New Dynamic Background To Celebrate 5th Anniversary Of Apex Legends

Popular battle royale shooter Apex Legends has been out for five years now, and the team has added a new Xbox Series X|S dynamic background to celebrate the game's milestone anniversary.

Now available on current-gen Xbox consoles, the new Apex Legends dynamic background is based around the game's latest official artwork - viewable up above. Oh, and down below you can check out what the background looks like when animated on your Xbox Series X|S console:

This background arrives just as developer Respawn Entertainment delivers some major updates for the free-to-play title, chief among which is a brand-new 120FPS option for new-gen players - available now on Xbox Series X and S.

It's been a busy start to the year for Microsoft's growing collection of dynamic backgrounds on Xbox Series X|S. We're into double figures for new additions already in 2024, with EA dropping another huge batch back in January amongst other additions to the collection in recent weeks.
