The free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends is getting its fifth-anniversary seasonal update 'Breakout' next week, and as part of this, it's receiving a performance mode on current generation consoles including Xbox Series X|S.
Players can look forward to 120 FPS gameplay with this new video settings option. Here's the full rundown:
"Enable Performance Mode on current-gen consoles for 120Hz output to displays that support it! This new Video Settings option adjusts graphical settings, leveraging recent improvements in the Apex rendering engine to target up to 120 FPS gameplay."
Apart from this, the new season and anniversary updates will include Legend Upgrades, Ranked Updates, the Thunderdome (a new mixtape map), and much more. You can check out the other content on the EA website.

@Kaloudz haha! same here, but I still love a good multiplayer shooter. Not played since it first launched to be honest though... might jump back in and see what's going on.
@Kaloudz My god, hell let loose is relentless. It's definitely not a Call of Duty or Battlefield where you can run and gun... I spent most of my time hiding behind a tree or wall.
