Yesterday, Microsoft delivered our latest Xbox Game Pass roundup - and a weird error occurred as the team announced what was coming in the first half of February. While the lineup is looking nice through February 20th, it could have been even better as Tales of Arise was initially listed as well before being removed!
Yep, we're not sure why, but Xbox Wire's heading initially listed Tales of Arise as one of these upcoming February titles. The game was never mentioned within the roundup article itself, and its mention has now been removed entirely. Here's evidence of its inclusion yesterday:
What happens from here is anyone's guess. Microsoft later described it as an "incorrect title" in a follow-up statement, so there's every chance that this could have been a total mistake. However, it could also be that Tales of Arise is planned for Xbox Game Pass; potentially for the back-half of February or later in the year.
Tales of Arise first launched on Xbox in 2021, so it's certainly been out there and on the market for a while at this stage. Of course, if we hear any more information on Tales of Arise coming to the library we'll let you know, but for now - take this as the case of the missing Game Pass title!
