Halo Infinite receives a brand-new update today, which sees the departure of Seasons and the introduction of content updates.
As previously noted, Content Update 29 adds a new Arena map "Illusion", new Forge features including a 'Covenant object palette, a free Mark IV armor core and perhaps most excitingly a Halo Wars-themed "Spirit of Fire" Operation.
As part of this, 343 has now released a new trailer, which you can check out above. Spirit of Fire comes with a new pass, where Spartans can unlock 20 tiers of free rewards (including customisation for the Mark IV armor core) between now and March 5th, 2024.

You can learn more about this latest update for Halo Infinite on Halo Waypoint, where the team breaks down everything that's been added to the multiplayer component.

Sounds good to me!
@Kaloudz I believe that like other Infinite battle passes the free tier is only available during the event window (until March 5th) after that the premium battle pass tiers are still available if you pay and those are permanent, your XP will level up whichever battle pass you have active.
@Kaloudz As much as i'd like it ALL to be available forever they DO need to incentivise people playing each update and not just "come back whenever". It's pretty great as most battle pass systems go.
Recently, the weekly challenges have all been achievable via firefight (none of them required killing other players and could be done via multi kills or score in firefight etc.), it was only the final challenge that required jumping into actual multiplayer (e.g. backsmacks on Spartans), which could be easily obtained in Husky raid playlist, which is a very forgiving playlist for less skilled players.
Infinite is loads of fun, but I wish they'd expand the firefight modes and maps. I was gutted this latest update doesn't seem to have done anything to firefight playlist
@Zochmenos Thanks, appreciate that news, I should have paid better attention to Infinite news recently.
On a plus side, they have sorted out the post game reports for firefight now, which is a step forward for firefight in this update. Post game stats now shows how many of each enemy each team member killed etc. Rather than the shoe-horned into firefight pvp post game stats. Big improvement in my opinion.
Mmm! I need to get back into this. I did enjoy it when I first played, but I just stopped after a while.
