As part of January's Forza Monthly livestream, developer Turn 10 has announced that the world-famous Nürburgring Nordschleife track heads to Forza Motorsport next month.
The Nordschleife layout — which was missing from the latest Forza title at launch — comes in tandem with Update 5; the upcoming patch for last year's racer. Previously arriving in 'Spring 2024', it looks like the 20KM+ track is ready to go a little earlier than anticipated.
The team says you can expect to see the track in action during February's Forza Monthly livestream, alongside its "accompanying career tour, cars and multiplayer events". Specific dates haven't been announced for all of this just yet, but we'd expect the livestream and Update 5 to arrive in the back half of February.
"The Nordschleife is a testament to racing history with a notorious reputation. Legends have been born on this track, while others have suffered tough defeats. With several challenging turns, steep climbs, and long straights – not to mention an elevation of nearly 300 meters – the Nordschleife is the ultimate test of endurance for racers and manufacturers alike."
As for the rest of the update, Turn 10 has detailed some of what it's aiming to deliver in a recent blog post. Additionally, the team says that it's "begun collecting feedback from various sources" in relation to three specific areas of improvement - but these fixes won't arrive until later patches.
