Xbox seems insistent on sticking with these "Buy XX, Get XX Free" offers that have begun hitting the Microsoft Store, and the latest one has been getting some particular attention as it features various Call of Duty and Diablo titles.
As you can see below, it's a "Buy Two, Get One Free" offer including Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo IV as the main highlights, although the likes of Modern Warfare 2, Diablo 2 and various other great games are also in there.
To be honest though, we don't think this represents particularly great value for money - it's not bad, but it's not fantastic either. In the UK, you're looking at £140 for Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 4 before you get your "free" game, and as good as those "free" games might be, most of them can be found discounted at different times throughout the year.
That's not to mention that we've seemingly got two big sales coming up very soon - one for The Game Awards and one for the Xbox Countdown Sale - so who knows if some of these games might be reduced as part of those promotions? For example, Diablo 4 was recently discounted down to £41.99, while Modern Warfare 3 has been as low as £59.49. And of course, we're expecting at least a few of these to crop up on Xbox Game Pass in 2024 as well.
Obviously if you're keen to get your hands on Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 4 ASAP, then this might be exactly what you're looking for, but otherwise it's perhaps worth waiting a bit longer for a price drop or some Game Pass additions.
You've got a bit longer to make your decision - this offer expires on December 12th, 2023.

Damn.. I want Borderlands Pandora’s Box for €30..
€149,99 in the Dutch store. Just why?
It's a complete ripoff
@Ocat Really? I keep getting it offered for about £28 in the UK. The only reason I haven't bothered is because I own them all apart from the 2 'Tales From' games and I have no interest in playing the second one Gearbox did anyway. That said I had forked out £12 roughly for the Commander Lilith dlc which was the only main game dlc I was missing and then the Pandora offer came up about a month later or I might have considered paying the extra for Pandora seeing as that's included anyway.
No great deals should be buy one get one free
Weird deal this, most are going to end up on GP so why not do a better deal.
Offers like this people will just wait.
Why buy when they'll most likely come to GP?
