Ahead of the festive season, Forza Horizon 5 developer Playground Games has detailed its next three major updates, and as you'd expect, the first one is appropriately themed for the winter season.
Kicking off this month, 'Winter Wonderland' adds your usual array of Forza Horizon 5 goodies — including a new Festival Playlist featuring free cars — and the game's Stadium area will see a winter makeover for December. In fact, the winter weather will be running for the entire season, so don't expect to see much sun once Winter Wonderland rolls around.
The launch of December's update also coincides with another premium car pack. A 'Fast and Furious X' DLC releases this month, featuring five Fast and Furious-themed vehicles to cruise around Mexico in. The pack will set you back $9.99 / €9.99 / £7.99, and it's not available in the existing Car Pass or Premium Editions of the game.
Once Winter Wonderland has come and gone, we have two more major updates lined up. 'Community Favourites' arrives in January with playlist content decided by the community, while February brings the 'Lunar New Year' update featuring a Stadium drift arena and more. As normal, these will add more free cars and new events to tackle within the game's Festival Playlist area.
There's still a lot going on in Forza Horizon 5 then, and the team doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. If you're also getting your track-racing fix from Forza Motorsport these days, the team at Turn 10 has just unveiled its own December update - featuring the game's next free track add-on!
