Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launched just over a month ago, and as December's Season 1 content begins to settle in, the team is dropping a free trial for all players on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
The trial kicks off tomorrow, December 14th, and lasts through the weekend until Monday, December 18th. As you can see in the infographic up above, MW3's free Xbox trial is delivering quite a bit of content for players across its three main online modes.
You'll be able to jump into core multiplayer, Ground War and Zombies in this free trial - with six of the game's most popular maps making up the core MP section. They're mostly classic Modern Warfare reimaginings here — as we talked about in our review — but they're good fun to jump back into all the same.
There are three Ground War maps involved as well, alongside the game's launch Zombies map, so this trial should definitely be worth a go if you've been on the fence about MW3 thus far. Just watch out for that download size - it'll probably be pretty hefty!

Might give this a go haven't really played a call of duty since the 360 days what exactly is core multiplayer does anyone know would it have team Deathmatch or domination in it?
@eire-shabba Core multiplayer is your usual COD 6v6 stuff! The trial will have team deathmatch, domination, kill confirmed and hardpoint.

@eire-shabba 4 modes over 6 maps will be available as the 'core' MP mode - although you do get 3 Maps of their 'big team' MP Ground War mode too to try out.
You also get access to their Zombies mode too - a co-op only mode
I woudnt play this if they payed me
