Earlier this month, a bunch of Halo 3 maps were made playable in Halo Infinite as part of the Halo 3 Refueled playlist, and we've been having a great time in recent days getting stuck into some of these classics.
If you weren't aware, there are seven fan-made maps that have been incorporated into the Halo 3 Refueled playlist by 343 Industries, and these are based around The Pit, Narrows, Isolation, High Ground, Construct, Blackout and Guardian.
In the video above, we've put together comparisons between the Halo 3 versions of these maps (taken from The Master Chief Collection) and the new Halo Infinite versions, showing off different elements of each location.
As you can see, some creative liberties have been taken in the redesign of these maps, but they're ultimately still very faithful to the originals for the most part, and we think it's awesome to have them playable in Halo Infinite!
What are your thoughts on the new Halo 3 maps in Infinite? Tell us down in the comments below.

Not played much Halo this week with Thanksgiving being a busy time but I’ve enjoyed the maps for most part. I think the AR/BR starts was a smart move.
@ParsnipHero agreed! There's been such a commotion it all hey? Can't go wrong with the BR but I do be enjoying that Bandit Evo in comp. What's been your fave map to dive back into?
@x3King84 Enough play it you can regularly find a game.
Few enough people play it though you can recognize gamertags because you get games with the same people frequently in a given window of time.
@HelloCraig I have to say I was resistant to the banished Narrows because I’m not big on their aesthetic but it may be the best of the bunch because of the extra areas they added on.
I’ve mostly had The Pit, Banished Lockout and Narrows.
Just get tired of unloading a clip to kill someone then another enemy does the same to me .
That was a huge nostalgia trip. Loved seeing that comparison and forgot how damn pretty these maps were in Halo 3 at the time.
Halo should be developed by DICE. The graphics would be ten times better.
