Lots Of Games Reduced By 90-95% In The Xbox Black Friday Sale 2023

FYI: Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a really interesting game, I really enjoyed it (I played the first one on PS3). For 0.99€ you should really buy it.

I did enjoy mad Max a lot back in the day. I would recommend it, amazing price for a fun game.

Should I get AC Valhalla at $15 or wait for more discount on the complete editions? I enjoyed and finished Origins and Odyssey. The dlcs on both are mixed at best. In hindsight, only the Origin Pharaoh dlc was worth paying for.

I bought Anthem for $2 on another platform. That was a fair price and I had some fun.

I recommend both The Evil Within games and Immortals Fenyx Rising.

@cardcrusher29 @KayUK I was very excited about Anthem. I loved the idea of the jet packs and exploring wild environments, but the demo put me off and I skipped the game. I think that the main idea is great, but couldn't stand the technical performance on the most powerful console then, Xbox One X. I just checked and I see it's FPS Boost on Series X. The game really needed a boost 😁. I might try again at 60fps.

The performance on the PS4 Pro was terrible as well. Long loading time, constant disconnects, and lost progression when joining others' sessions. My main issue was the progression wall it threw at the player. Too many checklist like missions just to progress the plot. I stopped at that point, but would have continued if I didn't have a backlog or game sub.

If you have gamepass, try it. If not, just don't pay over $5. The flying mechanic is really excellent. The open world is quite vast and interesting.

If a game deserved a FPS/Resolution boost, Lego City Undercover deserved it. Pretty much GTA over Lego. And a great time.

Pick it up if you don't mind it running like it did on the Xbox One.

@cardcrusher29 Thanks. So, a good idea ruined by the technical performance (at launch) and the progression wall. I will have a look on Game Pass to see a bit more of the environment, at least.

Anyone who slept on Immortals: Fenyx Rising, I highly recommend giving it a go. It's an absolute steal at 9 quid. 👌

Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus is a good game as is a few ohter titels.

Also tons of OG and 360 games bonus sale. Just picked up the Lego Indiana Jones collection for less than a fiver. Imo some of the funniest Lego series. Harrison Ford ftw .
