We've been waiting for Warhammer 40K: Darktide on Xbox for such a long time now, and it's finally arriving as part of the October 2023 Xbox Game Pass lineup! That said, we haven't heard that much news about its upcoming arrival, so we thought we'd take this opportunity to break down all the key details ahead of its Xbox debut.
Below, you'll find the release date and release times for Warhammer 40K: Darktide on Xbox Game Pass, along with some extra information about the preload and how to potentially access the game on Xbox One.
So, here's everything you need to know about the Warhammer 40K: Darktide launch on Xbox:
Warhammer 40K: Darktide Xbox Release Date
Warhammer 40K: Darktide's Xbox release date is technically October 4th, although some countries get access slightly earlier on October 3rd. This is when the game becomes available for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners on the Xbox Store, as well as being included with Xbox Game Pass.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide Xbox Release Time
Warhammer 40K: Darktide's Xbox release time is 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm BST on October 3rd.
Here's a look at a full breakdown of all the release times around the world:

Warhammer 40K: Darktide Xbox Preload Details
Warhammer 40K: Darktide isn't currently available to preload on Xbox at the time of writing, so that's why you can't find it on the Xbox Game Pass app right now! It's also not possible to download it ahead of time using the Xbox mobile app.
As things stand, it looks like we might have to wait until release day to begin installing it.
In terms of its download size, expect it to be similar to the PC Game Pass version which is 51.09GB.
Is Warhammer 40K: Darktide On Xbox One?
Warhammer 40K: Darktide is sadly not playable natively on Xbox One. That said, there's a chance it'll be available as part of Xbox Cloud Gaming, and if that's the case, Xbox One owners will at least be able to stream the game via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Can't wait to give this a try on console. I played a little bit of it on PC but it was at the beginning when it was a bit of a train wreck. I really hope they figured it out.
This is one title I have been waiting to play on my Xbox Series X since it was announced 3 years ago lol
Can’t believe UK actually get earlier access for once! Not that I will be up at 11pm to play it but it’s exciting to see considering we are usually bottom of the pile. Either way looking forward to giving this a go sometime in the future when the backlog isn’t so backloggy.
Looks great I Hope it is
